Very interesting, LIA. I'm sure I haven't compared 1-14-67 with other '67 Dews as closely as you, but I do remember being struck by how polished it sounded for the first ever. How disillusioning if it turns out not even to be from '67!

A quick comparison reveals a massive difference in instument sound, particularly with Weir's guitar - it's much more percussive and jangly on the second and third tracks. Also Pigpen's organ is all over the the second and third tracks. It's much more hidden on the Morning Dew. No way the Morning Dew is from the same performance.
